Sweet-Coulter and Wolves Agree to 3-Year Contract Extension

The Westshore Wolves of the VIJHL are extremely excited to announce that Derek Sweet-Coulter has agreed to a 3 year contract extension with the team.

This past year the Wolves enjoyed one of their best seasons in franchise history under Sweet-Coulter, finishing with 28 wins, which was one short of a franchise record.

Owner Shawn Vincent had these comments, “Derek’s commitment and dedication to our organization is second to none. He is a great communicator, gets the most out of his players and staff, and brings a wealth of knowledge to our organization, we are truly blessed to have him”. The Wolves future is in great hands moving forward and we couldn’t be happier to have Derek on board.

Sweet-Coulter enters his 16th season as a Head Coach at the Junior level and is looking forward to the future with the Wolves. “To be back home around my family has been incredible and I have really enjoyed working for a great owner in Shawn Vincent, whose core values and beliefs align exactly with mine. I’m excited to know this will be my home for the foreseeable future. The Westshore hockey community has been so welcoming and I look forward to building a great foundation for the Wolves and working towards a VIJHL championship.” said Sweet-Coulter on his new deal.
